There’s no need to make pastry for this recipe for Easy Cheesy Party Snacks, just buy a pack of ready-made crust and add some cheese! So Simple.
I recently had a get together with some friends and their kids. It was a good-sized group and I wanted to make food I could make ahead so I could enjoy time with my guests.
These simple cheesy snacks are perfect for fussy kids and ready in just over 30 minutes, they are great for packing lunches and picnics too! I used my own pie crust for this, but you can use store bought. For more details on making your own, see my post on how to make pie crust,

- Cheddar cheese is a great choice making the party snacks appealing to all tastes and preferences.
- Homemade is always better than store bought, guaranteed!
How To Make Cheesy Party Snacks
- Cut ready rolled pastry into circles with a cookie cutter.
- Place the pastry circles into a cupcake pan.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20 mintues.
- Serve and enjoy!
Step By Step Instructions
Roll out the pastry and cut into circles.
Top the pastry rounds with grated cheese.
Bake in the oven for around 20 minutes until crispy.
I left the dough in the bottom without spreading it into a tart because I wanted the cheese to form a crispy crust around the top. It worked like a charm!
Allow to cool, serve and enjoy!
