Step By Step Instructions

Hi, I want to try this recipe but I feel it’s too sweet, Can I reduce the measurements of both sugars?

Sure! If you think the recipe is too sweet, you can use less sugar. Try using a little less of both the white and brown sugars. Maybe cut down to ⅜ cup of white sugar and ¾ cup of brown sugar. But remember, brown sugar makes cookies soft and chewy. So, if you use less, the cookies texture will be affected. Also, this recipe has a lot of chocolate chips which can make it sweet too. If you want, you can use fewer chips or pick a darker chocolate. When you bake with less sugar, the cookies might not get as brown, so keep an eye on them while baking. It’s a good idea to bake a few cookies first to see if you like them. Sometimes, when we change a recipe, we need to try it a few times to get it just right. Happy baking!
